“Anything is better than nothing”, wait a minute.…
When ‘love’ finally comes into the picture after along time of waiting the best one can do is to say, ‘I do’, ‘of course I do’.
But just wait a minute, I said ‘love’ not love, so before you jump on the so-called last ferry at the port, take a minute and speak with yourself.
If you have ever bought a smaller shoe than your size then you will understand me perfectly.
At the time of buying you like its style, the label, and it’s affordable… but before you even reach home you will feel the loss with in you for buying that shoe. So is anything better than nothing? If you waited for another day or moved to another shop you, wouldn’t you get a fitting shoe?
Like wise taking the last ferry even when it’s going to the wrong direction is not a wise move. Am sure if you waited a little longer, you would get the right ferry.
Back to the ‘I do’, am sure you have waited for a long time actually a very long time, but don’t say I do, unless you actually do.
Am told for one to say I do proudly, these three must be in place.
– you should like the guy,
– Should love him,
– You should be in love with him.
Well I can’t explain the difference between the three, but I know they are those I like yet I don’t love, and they are those I love yet I’ am not in love with them.
And one more thing for two to be in love, you must love someone and that person must love you back.
So what is love? I ask, well am told to check the face of love in 1cor 13. And I will do the same for you, and find the truth yourself, from God’s own mouth.
Bottom line; am sure want to buy a fitting shoe, just like you want to marry a right Mr. Right. You don’t want to spend the rest of your life complaining to God of the wrong decision you made your self.
